These Terms of Use govern your use of bayfueloil.com (the “Website”), operated by J R Fuel Oil Inc., doing business as Bay Fuel Oil, a division of Hart Home Comfort (“Bay Fuel,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.
This website is not for emergencies. If you smell oil fumes or smoke, see fire, or suspect carbon monoxide, leave your home and call 911. If you have no heat, call us at (631) 667-3200. Do not use online forms or email to report an emergency.
Using the Website
You may use the Website to learn about our products and services, view pricing, contact us, and place orders. You agree to use it only for lawful purposes and not to:
- Submit false information or impersonate another person
- Interfere with the Website’s operation or security, or try to access areas you are not authorized to use

Heating oil prices change frequently, often daily. Prices shown on the Website or sent to you after submitting a form are for informational purposes and are not a guaranteed offer. The price you pay may depend on your delivery date, delivery area, quantity, payment method, and plan, and is confirmed when your order is placed.
We work to keep information on the Website accurate, but it may contain errors or be out of date. We reserve the right to correct errors, change prices, and update information at any time without notice, including after an order has been submitted.
Ordering and delivery
Online orders are placed through a third-party ordering platform (myfuelaccount.com) and are subject to that platform’s terms in addition to these terms. All orders are subject to our acceptance and to product availability.
- Delivery dates and times are estimates. Weather, road conditions, demand, and access to your property can cause delays.
- You are responsible for providing an accurate delivery address and safe, clear access to your fill pipe, including clearing snow and ice and securing pets.
- Payment for C.O.D. orders is due at the time the order is placed or the delivery is made, as stated when you order.
- Minimum delivery amounts, delivery areas, and fees may apply and will be explained when you order.
Delivery and service plans
Automatic delivery, price plans, and heating equipment service plans are governed by the separate written agreement you receive when you enroll. If that agreement conflicts with these Terms of Use, the agreement controls.
Communications
By providing your email address or phone number, you agree that we may contact you about your account, orders, and deliveries. Marketing emails and text messages are sent only with your consent, and you can opt out at any time. See our Privacy Policy for details, including text messaging terms.
Your account
If you create an account to order or manage deliveries, you are responsible for keeping your login information confidential and for all activity under your account. Contact us right away if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

Severability
